| Students first enlarged a comic frame
from the Sunday comic pages, familiarizing themselves with the graphic
conventions of cartooning. Next they created an original comic
character which they featured in a wanted poster. Then they created a
comic book story. Next they made one of their characters in papier
mache. Spin off items were designed as well as a movie poster featuring
