Students were asked to write a poem using various words: Martha the Goose, shimmering, pinecone, hypothesis, mousetrap catapult, eclectic, etc...

By Jennifer Jimenez:

 A FUN HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!

 This halloween,
Off she went with her friends that Martha the
Goose,
Off with their baskets and pillowcases
But little did she know her pine cone hat was loose
Her costume was a certian scientist
 One whom nobody know
For her hypothisis was crazy and her analysis too
She carried in her pocket a mouse trap catapult
That was shimmering in the light
She was so wacky that she gave the townspeople a fright
As if she was on a quest in the night
Though she had learned by the eclectic
She thought that she was the best
But she had fun that Halloween and her friends did too
They got enough candy for me and you
But now I must go and the fun is now done
That Halloween is one I'll never forget.
